The Roxboro Baptist Church congregation welcomes guests to its services and wants you to feel at home when you visit. Sunday morning services and Wednesday evening activities are great times to get to know us. Here is some information we hope will make your first visit easier and answer some of the questions you may have.
Roxboro Baptist Church is located in uptown Roxboro at 202 South Main Street, Roxboro, on the corner of South Main and Academy Streets.
Where to park
The main parking lot is located on South Main Street, just north of the church. Additional parking is available in the City of Roxboro parking lot at the corner of Lamar and Gordon Streets, across the street from the church or in parking spaces along some sections of South Main Street.
Where to enter
The most frequently used entrance may be accessed from the main parking lot north of the church by entering through the double doors under the portico. This entrance is handicap accessible and provides access to the church elevator. A second drop-off entrance is available from Academy Street, just off South Main Street, on the south side of the church. Both these entrances lead to the church solarium where greeters are available to answer questions and help you find your way. Both solarium entrances provide access to the church offices, the Elliott Fellowship Hall, and preschool areas in addition to the elevator.
The church’s main entrance is located on South Main Street and leads to the church sanctuary on the second level via stairs and the Elliott Fellowship Hall on the lower level, also via stairs. Greeters and ushers are available for the Sunday morning worship service and can provide guidance.

How do I become a church member?
At the close of each worship service, there is a response time. At this time we look expectantly for people who may come forward to indicate their desire to join the church family in one of the following ways:
By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord followed by believer’s baptism.
By transfer of letter from another Baptist church.
By statement of faith and transfer of membership from another Christian church (i.e. Methodist or Presbyterian).
By watchcare membership as an associate member.
If you would like to talk to someone about church membership, please call the church office at 336-599-9248, and one of the ministerial staff will be happy to talk with you.
