Senior adults are a vital part of the life of our church, and they find many places within our church to serve, including singing in the Chancel Choir, leading in worship, helping to prepare Wednesday night fellowship meals, providing food for grieving families as part of a bereavement team, and carrying flowers to shut-ins and those in the hospital as part of our BLOOM ministry.

They also enjoy life together, participating in day trips, and even occasional overnight trips, throughout the year. Past adventures have included the Billy Graham museum in Charlotte, NC; Southern Supreme Fruitcake in Bear Creek, NC; various touring Broadway shows at the Durham Performing Arts Center; the Charles Kuralt Learning Center in Chapel Hill, NC; the Governor’s Western Mansion in Asheville, NC; a shopping day in Danville, VA; and an overnight trip to Myrtle Beach, SC to enjoy the area and Christmas shows.
