Welcome

The Roxboro Baptist Church congregation welcomes guests to its services and wants you to feel at home when you visit. Sunday morning services and Wednesday evening activities are great times to get to know us. Here is some information we hope will make your first visit easier and answer some of the questions you may have.

Church location

Roxboro Baptist Church is located in uptown Roxboro at 202 South Main Street, on the corner of South Main and Academy Streets.

Where to park

The main parking lot is located on South Main Street, just north of the church. Additional parking is available in the City of Roxboro parking lot on Gordon Street just across the street from the church or in parking spaces along some sections of South Main Street.

Where to enter

The most frequently used entrance may be accessed from the main parking lot by entering through the double glass doors under the portico. A drop-off entrance is also available on the Academy Street side of the church. Both of these entrances are handicap accessible and open to the first floor (church office, fellowship hall, preschool area) and the church elevator, which provides access to the second floor (sanctuary, library, classrooms) and the third floor (choir rooms, classrooms).

The church’s main entrance is located on South Main Street and leads to the church sanctuary on the second level via stairs and the fellowship hall on the lower level, also via stairs.

How do I become a church member?

We would love to talk to you about church membership! Please speak to one of our ministers or call the church office at 336-599-9248. New members join this church family through one of the following ways:

  • By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord followed by believer’s baptism

  • By transfer of letter from another Baptist church

  • By statement of faith and transfer of membership from another Christian church of a different denomination

  • By watchcare membership as an associate member
