Associate Minister (Youth and Christian Life)
Rebekah Worley lived for 15 years in Raleigh, NC before moving to Asheville, NC to go to Montreat College. Growing up in a ministerial family, she accepted her call into ministry during a college summer at Camp Oak Hill, leading her to be apart of Young Life in Buncombe County. While earning her Bachelors of Arts in Bible and Religion with a minor in Spanish, she was involved in sports ministry as a captain of the Montreat Woman's Varsity soccer team, eventually helping as their assistant coach in 2012. Following this time, the Lord led her to Duke Divinity school, where she earned her Masters in Divinity in 2015. Her passion is to minister to all ages the freeing faith of Christ, believing in the power of the listening ear and a prayerful,Christ-seeking heart. Her vision for ministry stems from the servant heart and mission-minded. During her free time, Bekah enjoys being outside, whether its on a bike or enjoying tactle arts like ceramics or photography. After her time in Asheville, the mountains are one of her favorite places to explore.
Christy Hawkins grew up in Henderson and has lived in Roxboro since September 1990. She has served as the Church financial Secretary since September 2002.
Christy is married to Billy Hawkins and they have two daughters: Delaina (born in 1995) and Carlee (born in 2000). They are members of Theresa Baptist Church.
Christy and her family enjoy walking, playing ball, car shows, and spending time with one another.
